HEY BUDDY / TESSA COATES (COUSIN(KINDA))

TOMMY, I THINK ABOUT U ALL THE TIME . THE WAY WE WOULD LAUGH AT THINGS EVEN IF THEY WERENT SO FUNNY. THE WAY YOU AND MY BROTHERS PICKED ON ME. I WAS TALKING ABOUT THE TIME WE HAD THE NEW YEARS PARTY AT YOUR HOUSE IN 2000. YOU REMEMBER THAT??? YOU SHOULD, AFTER ALL YOU ARE THE ONE WHO GOT ME STARTED ON THE TEQUILLA THING...LOL OR HOW ABOUT THIS, WHEN YOU AND MIKE WOULD PUT YOUR HANDS BEHIND YOU AND THROW WHAT YOU CAUGHT AT MY FACE THAT WAS SO NASTY BUT SO FUNNY...ITS THINGS LIKE THAT I WILL NEVER FORGET. I GO TO THE GRAVESITE ALL THE TIME AND TALK TO YOU..DO YOU HEAR ME??? I THINK YOU DO...SOMETHING HAPPENED THE OTHER DAY THAT WAS KIND OF STRANGE AND IT KIND OF SCARED ME..I KNOW YOU WERE TRYING TO FREAK ME OUT..WELL GUESS WHAT??? YOU DID!!! LOL IT WAS COOL THOUGH IT IS SOMETHING YOU WOULD DO...ANYHOW..IM GONNA GO FOR NOW BUT NOT FOREVER....
IN MY HEART FOREVER,
 TESS

Tommy / Linda Burton (Mother)
Tommy, I am so proud of you for your accomplishments and accomplishments you were about to recieve at such a young age,. You had over come what most would have found hard to. You worked so hard to provide for you daughter, working toward making your wedding to Dawn on 8-05-5 to be what she wanted and the promotion; I think you would have had, and our Grandmothers house that you had so many plans for.
You always kept a positive attitude and perservered no matter how tough life and love got.

I think of you everymorning, almost waiting for the phone call "Mom get the coffe ready", our conversations and laughter before you had to go to work. I will always remember the treasures we talked about finding while we were working on the carriage house. The hair we found in the wall; laughing about what it could have been only to find that it was horses hair added to strengthen the plaster. The serious long talks that we had about life. Your enthusiasim of learning and training for your job to succeed further. ( your co-workers and bosses were not just that but, came to love and admire you; they became your freinds). The holidays which you embraced as if you had invented them. The closeness that we had that only a mother and son would have and more; friends. The closeness between you and you siblings. You have always been a kind hearted person who did not like pettiness or deseption, a person who believed in forgiving even if it could not be forgotton. You were today's shepard. I hate that you were taken from us, but I know that God had a greater plan for you; that is seen in so much that you had accomplished and the lifes that you impacted with your grace and smile while you were here. We will make sure that your daughter Heather always knows the truth and how great of a father you were to her, she will always know that you are looking over her. We will make sure she learns what you would have taught her; compasion, responcibility, woriking for what you want, the unselfishness, learning, humbleness and the love of family, friends and all people.

I am glad that I was with you and hope that you heard my words to you before your entrence to heaven. I love you Tommy, Mom.
We may move on....  / Friend Of Tommy's Dayton
Tom,

We know there are some people who moved on fairly quickly after you left us, but know that the people who really cared about you are still trying to make sense of the whole thing. I know I miss being able to here you say "Hey! What's goin' on."

I cannot speak for your family, but I know I can speak for your friends. I am one of them, and always will be. You showed me alot, even though I wasn't looking!

We all know how much you cared about your little girl. She was the reason you put up with so much. I remeber all the deep talks we had about that, just know that she will look back and realize...you are the BEST FATHER any little girl could want! I am sure she will always remember the fun and laughter you had together.

I just wish you had smoother sailing in that department. I know your life was about to take a huge turn, and I know it would've worked out in the direction you were going in! It is tough to say thi, but maybe this was the "break away" that you knew was coming, but didn't realize it would be this way.

Know that I will always cherish the talks and the beers we shared and trials you went through for your little girl, and i will know how it feels one day when I have my own.

No need to leave a name, he knows who I am.....
Hey Bud! / Rick Mundy (Father)
Tommy,I know that I was not a good father to you while you were young but, as you got older we seemed to make up for lost time and we did a great job of it. You and I had some fantastic talks and those talks made up for a lot of things between us. I will miss you for the rest of my life and will think about you every day for the rest of my life! I want you to know that every time Dawn,Heather, and I get together, we talk about you and I show Dawn and Heather pictures of you and we just remember the good times that we all had. I will miss you especially on our birthday's together and on Easter sunday when you and I got together to color easter eggs. We always managed to make a party out of those two occasions! We seemed to make a party out most occasions! I will always miss you ,Tommy, and I love you!
